IS THIS FOR ME?

Consider WalkTheTalk if you often…

Avoid social events, or spend days dreading them beforehand.

Go quiet in meetings even when you have something to say.

Rehearse what you’ll say before speaking.

Replay conversations for hours after they’ve happened.

Get through social situation, but don’t feel present or connected.

HOW IT WORKS

Structured sessions to build confidence

We're for anyone who quietly struggles with social anxiety and wants to do something about it.

1

Talk about what's going on

Thoughts and feelings to a group of people who understand.

2

Share a win and a struggle

Something you tried last week or would like to have done differently. Celebrate wins and tap into the wisdom of others who’ve experienced the same.

3

Leave with a goal to try

One thing you’d like to try in the week ahead. Come back next time and share how it went.

WHAT CHANGES

Members report a reduction in symptoms.

WalkTheTalk gives you a weekly place to practise and stay motivated through peer support. Over time, that practise adds up.

Social situations start to feel less catastrophic

It’s the difference between anxiety stopping you doing something, and the anxiety not holding you back.

You stop feeling like the only person

Hearing other people describe exactly your experience is useful in a way that reading about it isn't.

Small things become more automatic

The phone call you rehearsed three times. The meeting you spoke up in. With enough repetition, some of that rehearsing quietly stops.

You grow in confidence

The best part is when you breeze through a situation and only realise afterwards that it used to panic you. That's when you know something has shifted.

CHANGES

What the numbers show

We invite members to complete an anonymous clinical survey. Of those who completed it at least three times:

71%

scored less anxious on their latest response than their first

66%

reported avoiding situations less

61%

moved to a less severe clinical category

SPIN-17 self-report survey. 474 responses from 156 participants. 38 recorded at least three times, February 2024-July 2026. Many more people attend sessions but don’t complete the optional survey.

A NOTE FROM TOM, FOUNDER

“I went from confident public speaker to anxiety attacks in everyday meetings. I built WalkTheTalk to create a space to practice growing confident again.”

Confidence is a muscle. WalkTheTalk is about giving you an easy, low-stakes way to train yours. Every Monday at 8pm.
